SCLS logo
About the SLCS logo
Our logo was designed based on the concept of using two “S” letters to describe the double helical structure of DNA, representing life science, and a blue ring both to portray a cell, which is equivalent to life, and to represent peace and balance (collaboration).
The navy blue color, which expresses intelligence, represents supercomputers, and the orange expresses desire for improvement or cheerfulness, representing biological phenomena and life science.
The abbreviation SCLS stands for Supercomputational Life Science. The official name of our organization has been formally changed to Supercomputational Life Science from Computational Life Science and Application in Drug Discovery and Medical Development. We will be happy if you call us SCLS (we pronounce it “s-cluss”).
